Our Fall Enrichment courses offer a diverse range of learning experiences for your child. We’re excited to offer an array of classes that not only promote learning but also encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. 

Enrollment starts on Friday, July 25 at 8:00 AM (HST) and ends on Friday, August 8 at 9:30 AM (HST)

We encourage you to review the course descriptions to discover the variety of classes available, ranging from karate and soccer to science experiments and art. We also offer piano, hula, LEGO, coding, hip hop, and much more. Our instructors are passionate about their subjects and are dedicated to creating a positive and inspiring learning environment for every child.

  • Art Explorer (Gr. 3–5)

    Art Explorers

    Get ready for Art Explorers, an exciting journey into creativity designed for grades 3-5! This engaging class helps students deepen their love of art through exploring different mediums and trying out fun, hands-on projects. Each session encourages imaginative expression and skill-building, with beautiful artworks to take home. Get ready to discover new techniques, unleash your creativity, and become a true art explorer!   • Bricks4Kidz Future Engineers (Grades K–3)

    At Bricks 4 Kidz®, we engage students with LEGO® projects to foster innovation and creativity. We provide fun, hands-on learning and building experiences focused on STEM concepts. Each day features a new challenge where students learn advanced building techniques, construct unique moving models, and use code to bring them to life.   • Creative Coding (Gr. 5–6)

    Ready to code your own games, stories, and websites? In the Creative Coding Lab, students explore a new theme each trimester—such as game design, interactive animations, or building their own mini-websites. Using fun, beginner-friendly platforms like Scratch, Tynker, and Replit, students bring their ideas to life while learning essential programming concepts like loops, conditionals, and variables.

    Whether they're designing platformer games, animating a digital comic, or coding a personalized homepage, students build confidence and creativity with every project. *Must provide own laptop*

  • Hawaii Dance Club Hip Hop (Gr. K–5)

    Does your child dance around the house all day? Then this is the class for them! We love playing dance games that challenge your child's coordination skills and encourage quick thinking to keep them engaged. We teach them the latest moves to their favorite songs. We really value the kids’ input in dances. We love nurturing their expression and creativity. Our aim is to get sweaty and have as much fun as possible. We love to perform for parents at the end of our series. See you on the dance floor!

  • Karate (Gr. 2–5)

    Childhood is one of the best times to start on the path toward self-respect, respect for others, respect for healthy authority figures, as well as physical health and emotional balance. Maryknoll is honored to have the world-renowned International Karate Federation (IKF) return to our enrichment program this Fall under the leadership of Sensei Mari Kotaka Kaneshiro. IKF will continue its martial arts program focusing on character development, physical fitness, and learning the basics of intermediate skills in karate. Lessons are 45-minutes long, twice per week unless otherwise noted.

  • Keiki Hula (Gr. 1–3)

    Join Kumu U’i for an engaging beginner hula class designed for grades 1-3! In this class, students will learn foundational hula steps and movements, develop coordination and rhythm while gaining a deeper appreciation for Hawaiian culture. We’ll practice dancing to lively Hawaiian and Christian songs, focusing on expressing aloha and respect through our movements. This class offers a fun opportunity to build dance skills, work together, and prepare for meaningful performances that celebrate Hawaiian traditions.

  • LEGO® STEM Explorers (Gr. K–3)

    Gears are turning, motors are revving, and imaginations are taking off! In this hands-on engineering lab, students will explore the exciting world of physics, mechanics, architecture, and design using thousands of LEGO® bricks and specialized components.

    From motorized ziplines and battle-ready Pokémon walkers to towering skyscrapers and speeding gear cars, each project is a creative STEM challenge that turns play into purpose. Working collaboratively in a fun, supportive environment, young builders will sharpen their problem-solving skills, experiment boldly, and bring big ideas to life.

    Whether they’re new to LEGO engineering or returning for more, students will be guided by an experienced instructor to build smarter, stronger, and more creatively than ever before. Each session of classes features brand-new projects, and all materials are provided.

    Join Kumu U’i for a fun and gentle introduction to hula! In this beginner hula class for kindergarteners, you will learn simple dance steps and moves that help you express aloha and respect for Hawaiian culture.     Join Little Picassos with Mrs. Shelverton, a fun and creative art class for grades 1 and 2! In this class, students will explore their love of art and expand their creativity through exciting projects and hands-on activities. With guidance and encouragement, each young artist will learn new techniques, experiment with colors and shapes, and express themselves through their artwork.     Piano lessons with Mrs. Ruby Sager. Our lessons are one-on-one with Mrs. Sager, so progress is catered to each student, allowing maximum attention and progress. We offer a full range of kid-friendly lessons for all ages and abilities. Lessons are thirty minutes long, once a week.

  • Soccer Shots (Gr. K–3)

    Soccer Shots is a character education program for keiki ages 2–8 that teaches the fundamentals of soccer with a developmentally appropriate curriculum. It is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. We strive to positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication. Coaches have combined over 25+ years coaching the Soccer Shots program, and our lead instructors are all certified preschool teachers. Enrollment covers 10 sessions, a jersey, and end-of-Fall enrichment prizes.

    Sports Jam Academy provides a safe, fun, and exciting after-school Sports & Fitness program.     Enjoy building? Tinker Lab is where creativity and engineering come together! Through fun, hands-on projects, students will build, design, and experiment with STEAM kits, discovering how things work by taking them apart and reassembling them. Projects rotate each trimester and may include building bridges, designing catapults, creating marble runs, or crafting themed mini worlds.

    Each activity encourages kids to think like engineers, solving problems through trial, error, and teamwork. As they tinker with different tools and concepts, students will grow their problem-solving skills and gain confidence in their ability to create something amazing.
