Anna Ono is an entrepreneur and a financial services industry professional with over 17 years of progressive advisory and assurance experience. She most recently served as Senior Vice President and Director of Audit for First Hawaiian Bank, responsible for leading a comprehensive risk-based internal audit program. Prior to joining First Hawaiian Bank, Anna spent 12 years at Ernst & Young LLP within the advisory and assurance practices in Honolulu, Denver, and San Francisco.
In 2021, Anna left First Hawaiian Bank to work on launching a fintech startup with a mission to inspire 10 million women to start saving and investing sooner. Finanli (short for Financial Literacy) will launch in early 2022.
Anna received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Marketing from University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Anna and her husband Jason have a daughter, Emma (former class of 2028).
