Noah Furtado '21 and Common Goal Diplomacy Program featured in the Star-Advertiser
Junior Noah Furtado ‘21 was featured alongside his host brother Alex Zhang ‘21 from Nanyang Model High School in Shanghai in this month’s “Raise Your Hand” column in today's issue of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser!
Noah, along with our Spartan boys basketball team, traveled to Shanghai, China earlier this year as a part of Maryknoll’s new Common Goal Diplomacy Program, which aims to foster positive international relationships and understanding, through the lens of a common association or goal! This year, we used basketball as a common denominator and starting point for our two schools to come together to learn and grow! Awesome job, Noah and Alex for sharing your experiences and takeaways!
