Maryknoll Classes Resume on Monday, August 27th

Dear Maryknoll Families,

 

As many of you know, Hurricane Lane had much less of an impact on our island than what was anticipated, and we thank God for keeping us safe over the last few days. We’re also grateful for all those in the community that worked tirelessly to keep all of us prepared, informed and safe while we awaited the storm’s arrival. Please continue to keep our friends and family on Maui and the Big Island in your prayers, as they were most impacted by Hurricane Lane’s heavy rain and winds and are continuing to see the storm’s effects throughout the weekend.

 

As I had previously mentioned in my message to all of you last week, Maryknoll School will resume classes on Monday, August 27th as a "C" letter day. All extracurricular activities, afterschool care and athletic practices and games will resume as well. Be sure to check the Athletics Resource Board on myMaryknoll for any athletic games or tryouts that may have been postponed or rescheduled due to the storm. 

 

While we are not aware of any significant impacts Hurricane Lane had on Oahu, we recognize that some families may have been impacted in different ways here on our island and across the state. If your child is unable to attend school on Monday, please be sure to notify us by calling or emailing our Grade School or High School offices.
