Maryknoll High School Students Clean Up Four Nature Sites On Oahu


Nearly 350 Maryknoll High School students from grades 10-12 performed community service throughout O‘ahu thanks to a new program started this year to add quarterly service learning into the curriculum. Maryknoll students volunteered their time and efforts to restore the land and eliminate soil contaminants while learning about Hawaiian culture at 4 locations:

1. Keawawa Wetlands in Hawaii Kai
2. The Ala Wai Watershed in Manoa Valley
3. Papahana Kuaola in Windward Oahu
4. He‘eia Fishpond.
