Bachelot Hall Capital Campaign Featured On HI Now / Hawaii News Now

Foundation for Maryknoll School
Exciting things are happening at Maryknoll School! They are transforming their historic Bachelot Hall into a performing arts center for their students.

It has been a dream come true for the staff at Maryknoll School to finally renovate their historical Bachelot Hall. What was once the center of the campus has sat idle for over two years but is now getting a fresh look. Maryknoll School alongside Sacred Heart Church has launched a 3 million dollar capital campaign called Living Our Faith, Creating our Future.

Maryknoll School has received two leadership gifts from Dr. & Mrs. Tom & Mi Kosasa and the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation equaling almost 2 million dollars! “Both of those gifts collectively are truly paving the path for our campaign,” says Executive Director Wendy Chang. She and the Maryknoll community are excited to announce the Bachelot Hall will transform into Maryknoll School’s first performing arts center. With the correlation between music education and increased performance in academics, Wendy is excited to see what opportunities await.

For President and Head of School, Shana Tong '83, Bachelot Hall was always a place of gathering and a space for the community. She and the rest of the Maryknoll staff hope to bring Bachelot Hall to the forefront of Maryknoll and become the center for fellowship and creativity.
