Maryknoll Class of 2021: Announcing Graduation Events
Maryknoll School would like to extend our congratulations to our graduating Class of 2021 on all that they have accomplished during their time as Maryknoll Spartans. While our traditional, in-person celebrations will be modified to ensure the safety of our graduates, families, and loved ones, we are excited to announce the many ways we are celebrating and recognizing our graduating class!
Commencement – Important Update!
We are pleased to announce that the 2021 Maryknoll School Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Maryknoll Community Center!
Our original venue, Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall, has been designated a COVID vaccination site and is unable to accommodate public events through the month of June. We are very excited to hold this year’s Commencement Ceremony at home on the Maryknoll campus, and look forward to this special event.
Due to the limits of our gym, only 2 guests per senior will be allowed to attend. The campus will be closed to the public for lei-giving. Families are encouraged to arrange their own drive-by, should they choose to, on another date and location.
Wellness Screening Links
Access: Only Class of 2021 Graduates and 2 Family Members Will Be Permitted On Campus
For those family members and seniors attending, an online screening form must be submitted on the day of the event. The form will be activated at 4am and families are encouraged to complete it prior to the event. If not, guests and students will complete it before entering the gym.
June 3 - June 4: Baccalaureate Mass, Senior Class Awards, and Graduation Celebration
Access: In-person, Class of 2021 Seniors and two guests per student.
Thursday, June 3 at 9:00 AM: Baccalaureate Mass @ Maryknoll Community Center
On this date, Father EJ will preside over our Baccalaureate Mass. This Mass is an opportunity for members of the Class of 2021 and two family members each to gather in prayer and receive a blessing from Father EJ as they embark on a new journey after graduating from Maryknoll School. Immediately following the event, will be our Recognition and Awards Event. This is our opportunity to recognize members of the Class of 2021 for their academic, athletic, and extracurricular accomplishments, as well as our 13 to 14-year students and their families.
This event will be broadcast on Maryknoll's Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Friday, June 4 at 5:30 PM: Class of 2021 Commencement
We are excited to announce that our 87th Commencement will be in-person at our Maryknoll Community Center from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The campus will be closed to the public. Only members of the Class of 2021 and two family members per student may attend.

We are so fortunate and excited that Maryknoll has chosen to do an in-person graduation for the Class of 2021. In order for this to happen, we thank you for understanding that this event must be modified with strict guidelines to prevent, control, and minimize the risk of transmission of COVID-19. We are also working under the constraints of our physical capacity at the gym.
We will be adhering to strict social distancing procedures and will have to limit attendance to only the senior and two family members maximum.
Lei-giving from the public is prohibited. Family members attending in-person may only give a lei to their child only. Families are encourage to arrange their own lei drive-by or similar event on another day and location.
We need your cooperation to make sure this event is safe for everyone attending as we celebrate each senior in the best and safest way we can.
