Maryknoll Class of 2020: Announcing Virtual Celebrations and Events

Maryknoll Marketing & Communications
Maryknoll School would like to extend our congratulations to our graduating Class of 2020 on all that they have accomplished during their time as Maryknoll Spartans. While our traditional, in-person celebrations will be virtualized to ensure the safety of our graduates, families, and loved ones, we are excited to announce the many ways we are celebrating and recognizing our graduating class!

"Memory Lane" Pick Up Day

Access: Only Class of 2020 Graduates and Parents (Drivers) In Vehicles Will Be Permitted On Campus

Students/families will be able to drive-thru the Grade School Campus “driving down memory lane,” to pick up senior items and belongings. These items include locker items and books, as well as graduation caps and gowns, announcements, and various congratulatory gifts from our Project Grad Committee, Parent Teacher Alliance (PTA), and our Maryknoll Alumni Association. In following safety and health guidelines, we ask that everyone remain in their vehicles. We also ask that face-coverings be worn during the memory lane pickup process.

Friday, July 3: Postponed In-Person Graduation Ceremony (Tentative)

Access (if the event is held): Class of 2020 Graduates and Possibly Two Family Members Only

We recognize that there are many seniors and families that would like to celebrate our Class of 2020 with a more traditional in-person ceremony. Please know that Friday, July 3rd has been tentatively held for our postponed graduation ceremony at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall.

Please know that our ability to hold this in-person ceremony will be dependent on the current situation and climate regarding COVID-19, in addition to the lifting or easing of government restrictions and policies. If we are able to hold this event, we will be adhering to strict social distancing procedures and will have to limit attendance to only the senior and possibly two family members maximum. We will provide you with updates by mid-June about the status of the July 3rd in-person graduation event.
