Every student at Maryknoll receives a secret scholarship. Because tuition only covers 90% of the cost of educating each student. Donations to the annual fund make it possible to keep tuition increases as low as possible while still maintaining the best learning environment.
The earlier in the school year we receive donations, the earlier we can put them to work for all our students. We want this year’s Annual Fund campaign to be our strongest year yet and that can only happen with everyone’s help.
Our goal is to increase participation from parents, alumni, and friends. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference. When one gift to the annual fund is combined with hundreds of others, the impact is significant. Your single contribution has the power to influence the educational experience of over 1,100 students at Maryknoll School. That is the power of participation.
High participation is a vote of confidence, an important sign that our parents, alumni, faculty, and friends invest in our children and support the school’s mission. This increased percentage can also have an impact on gifts from outside sources; most foundations consider participation rates before donating to a school.
Every gift to Maryknoll is an investment in its 1,100 students and their hopes and dreams for the future. Our students thrive and succeed because of the generosity of so many.
Your gifts go to discovery labs and interactive projectors, art supplies and band equipment, robotics and science lab equipment, sports programs and equipment, the Chinese Immersion program in our Grade School, as well as iPads and microscopes. Funding also supports innovative programs such as Project Lead the Way, which helps students who struggle within a traditional school setting, and our high school Mx program that sets student career tracks focused around medicine, STEM and aerospace, creative arts and expression and business and diplomacy. Students also benefit from competitive physical training and athletic programs, extra-curricular programs, music and dance and theater, campus ministry and to mission trips. We educate body, mind and spirit – nurturing the whole child. Through your gifts you are part of our mission and part of all that our students achieve.
