The Toad Receives Another First Place Award!

🏆📖 Congratulations to the editors of the recent issue of our Toad Literary Magazine for receiving the distinguished 1st Place Award from the American Scholastic Press Association, an organization that recognizes high school and college publications.
The Toad is solely produced by Maryknoll students every year and showcases a variety of student work, including writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, and photography.

🐸 Fun Fact: The Toad was established in 1981 under the tutelage of Mrs. Frankie Lucas and was initially named "The Aegis." It then went through a name change a few years later to "The Toad" which derived from faculty members complaining about the school driveway being overrun by toads during that time.
