8th Grade Students Participate in March For Life Event

Students prepared for the event last week Friday by hearing about and holding a discussion on the right to life from conception to a death with dignity. They also crated signs for use at the event. On Monday, at the State Capitol, the children gathered for a prayer service. They then did some sign waving which brought about a favorable response from those passing by both in vehicles and on foot. Many positive comments were made by tourists who were also on the grounds. We concluded with a march around the capital before boarding our busses to return to school. The children did an awesome job representing Maryknoll and the Right to Life that day.
