Looking Back @ Homecoming Week

Maryknoll School
Homecoming Week 2022 is a wrap, and what an amazing week it’s been!

This annual tradition welcomes an exciting opportunity to rally around our community to celebrate and show off our school pride. Here’s a recap of this year’s festivities!

We loved seeing all of our students and faculty showing out by dressing up during Spirit Week. Each day, Spartans all across campus were decked out “Head to Toe” for Hat Day, Kicks Day, Class Color Day, Maroon & Gold Day, and of course, Aloha Friday.

Although we had to go virtual again for Homecoming 2022, we were still met with so much excitement and support from the community. We proudly presented this year’s Maryknoll Homecoming Court 2022:

King & Queen:
Alexander Parks & Chay Cunningham
12th Grade:
Kula Wheeler & Crishelle Ildefonso
11th Grade:
Jullien Bosket & Vanessa Joco
10th Grade:
Kainalu Barsana-Szewczyk & Cassandra Barut
9th Grade:
Xander Torres & Hailey Perez
8th Grade:
Jarren Yamashita & Kaira Hoolulu
7th Grade:
Brennan Yamaguchi & Megan Collier
6th Grade:
Jemuel Melegrito & Eliana Balberdi

All of this celebration culminated in a huge W for our Girls & Boys Varsity 1 Basketball teams, who both won their doubleheader games at home court. The score for game 1 vs Kamehameha Schools was 65-47 and game 2 vs Damien memorial School was 47-25.

A big mahalo to our Spartan community for participating in the Homecoming 2022 festivities. We are looking forward to more Spartan Spirit ahead! Join us in singing the Alma Mater as we've always done in years past.

To search for the truth is the goal we have in life,
To hope, trust, and honor the faith that we believe,
To share with each other, The ideal of Maryknoll
That love is the greatest gift in life.

To you our loyal hearts we bring
Maryknoll, our Maryknoll
Thy fame shall through the ages ring
Maryknoll, our Maryknoll

As thy dear sons and daughters true
We’ll keep ideals we learned from you
We’ll love you then as now we do
Alma Mater, Maryknoll

We love thy dear maroon and gold
Maryknoll, our Maryknoll
Our deep devotion it shall hold
Maryknoll, our Maryknoll
In days when we are far away
We’ll lift our faithful hearts to pray
That God may bless thy every day
Alma Mater, Maryknoll
