Micaiah Cape '22 is Noblesse Oblige in action! An academic in his own rite, Cape published an article in psychiatrist.com titled "Astronomical Use of Nitrous Oxide Associated With Stress From the COVID-19 Pandemic and Lockdown". At Maryknoll School, Cape is pursuing a certificate in STEM in the Maryknoll Pathway program.
In late 2020, Cape volunteered as a research assistant at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), supervised by Dr. William Haning, a recognized addiction psychiatrist and board member of UH Board of Regents. The two presented their research at the Hawaii Addiction Conference as well as the Biomedical Symposium at JABSOM.

We are inspired by Cape's drive and intellect and cannot wait to see what more he discovers! To learn more about Maryknoll's Pathway Program and STEM opportunities at Maryknoll, visit our website.
