Koa Pancake House Owner and CEO Juno Chung ’03 Gives Back During the Holidays
Maryknoll Class of 2003 alum and current owner and CEO of Koa Pancake House Juno Chung ’03 is giving back to the community this holiday season. In the spirit of giving and Noblesse Oblige, the company is partnering with two local non-profit organizations to help those in need.
In his recent interview with Pacific Business News, Juno explains that during the Thanksgiving holiday, Koa Pancake House has catered a free breakfast for IHS, The Institute for Human Services, Inc. for the past decade. This year, the Koa Pancake House Kaimuki location will be cooking up scramble-style omelets, potatoes, and pancakes.
Another community service project Koa Pancake House will be hosting this holiday season is a blood drive on December 10th, in partnership with the Blood Bank of Hawaii. On December 10th, anyone who participates in the blood drive will receive free pancakes.
