HPU Welcomes Next Cohort of Dual-Degree Maryknoll Students
It's been an exciting last few days for our students studying at Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) as they took their first steps of the school year as a part of our HPU-Maryknoll Dual-Degree Associate of Arts program!
On Friday, August 23rd, our dual-degree students and their parents met at HPU's Aloha Tower Waterfront campus for a special orientation and tour of the campus. Our students heard from their academic advisor and assistant dean, Yvonne Vance, and the Dr. Mani Seghal, Dean of the College of Professional Studies at HPU. Dr. Sehgal and Mrs. Vance, along with current HPU students, shared insights about what to expect as members of the HPU academic community, reassured their parents that they'll have a strong support system along their journeys and answered any questions they had. On Monday, August 26th, our students began their school year at HPU ready to learn and stretch their minds!

We're very excited for our newest dual-degree students, along with their senior counterparts who will be graduating in June 2020 with their Maryknoll high school diplomas and associate of arts degrees from HPU. Best of luck to our Sharks/Spartans!
