Maryknoll Wears Down Mililani

After trailing 7-2 early in the 1st quarter, the Lady Spartans overwhelmed Mililani with full-court pressure on their way to a convincing 69-41 victory. Maryknoll inserted freshmen substitutes Kira Kaopua, Mahea Choy Foo and Lilly Koki and they responded quickly with their defensive energy and pressure. Maryknoll went on a 11-2 run to take their first lead and slowly pulled away. A 28-12 3rd quarter burst led by 5 treys put the game out of reach. Aloha Akaka led the Maryknoll scoring with 17 points, Jalen Tanuvasa added 10.
