Maryknoll Grad to Play Outfield for University of Hawaii

Maryknoll graduate and baseball standout Jedd Andrade '14 will be playing outfield for the University of Hawaii at Manoa for the 2017 baseball season.

Jedd was a part of Maryknoll’s Interscholastic League of Honolulu and Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division II State Championship team in 2013 and 2014. He acquired first-team all-state honors as a junior and an honorable mention as a senior during his high school career.

Jedd played two seasons at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas before transferring to the University of Hawaii at Manoa this year. While at Fort Scott, he received first-team all-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Eastern Division honors as well as second-team all-National Junior College Athletic Association Region VI honors. He posted some impressive stats during his time on the team, including .411 batting average and a .544 on-base percentage.
