The Maryknoll Girls Softball team won its first ever Interscholastic League of Honolulu D1 championship after a 12-10 win against number four ranked Kamehameha.
Our softball program was crowned twice this season. The varsity team won its first ever ILH varsity league title and the intermediate team went undefeated in league and championship play, securing the second ILH championship in Maryknoll's history.
Clinching the ILH title allowed the lady Spartans to advance as the number two seed in the 2017 Datahouse softball championships. The lady Spartans ended their season with a strong 13-6 record and placed fith overall in the state tournament.
With only one senior graduating this year, the Spartans look forward to a promising 2017-2018 season.
Congratulations to Coach John Uekawa and the lady Spartans on a successful season!
