Fall Enrichment Programs 2023

Registration closes on Sunday, September 3rd, or once a class meets its maximum capacity.
The payment process for parents through Tuition Management is:
  1. To access Tuition Management, login to MyMaryknoll school account

  2. Click on Resource tab

  3. You will then see a bunch of tiles (boxes). Click on the tile that reflect Tuition Management

  4. This will redirect you to Tuition Management. Ensure you are in the 2023–2024 SY

  5. Click on Purchase Optional Items

  6. Select student; select fee to pay. Save.

  7. Check on 2 boxes to consent to agreement; click Agree to continue.

  8. Pay Now. Check Out. Note: if paying by debit or credit card, a 2.9% convenience fee will be assessed. If paying by checking or savings, no fee will be charged.
 
NOTE: For non-ASC students, please be sure to also purchase the “ENR – Additional $___ Charge (Non-ASC)” as part of your shopping cart item, as childcare support will be provided for the days that your child has enrichment class.
  • ENR $100.00 for 10 days; Future Engineering, Sports Jam, Hula Ministry, Egan Inoue’s Get Fit!, and Soccer Shots.

  • ENR $130.00 for 13 days; Piano and Ukulele.

  • ENR $220.00 for 22 days; Karate

  • Egan Inoue's Get Fit!

    Jaden Murashima is a full-time coach at Egan's Bootcamp. He graduated in 2020 from UH Manoa with a BS in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. For students seeking a fitness challenge using tracking and goals, we encourage you to participate in this 10-week youth fitness program. Broken into 4 sections, each section with a different focus. Weeks 1-3 will focus on speed, agility, and quickness. Weeks 4-6 will focus on upper/lower body conditioning and explosiveness. Weeks 7-9 will be a combination of the previous 6 weeks. Finally, week 10 will be GAME DAY! Replaying the groups' favorite games for friendly competition.

    Wednesdays: 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22. (No classes 11/1)
    • Grades 6–8: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
      • Limited class participants – 15
    ASC Student $500.00 for 10 sessions

    Non-ASC Student $600.00 for 10 sessions includes afternoon snack and ASC for the class date only.

  • Future Engineering

    Our Future Engineers After School curriculum by Bricks 4 Kidz introduces kids to concepts of engineering, coding, architecture, and mechanics using LEGO! Students learn how to build machines, buildings, vehicles, and one-of-a-kind models designed by Bricks 4 Kidz. Each week they will build a new project using LEGO Technics components like gears, axels, and beams while exploring the principles of engineering, architecture, physics, and mechanics. We encourage CREATIVITY and FUN!

    Wednesdays: 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22. (No classes 11/1)
    • Grades K–1: 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • Limited class participants – 12
    • Grades 2–3: 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

    ASC Student $250.00 for 10 sessions

    Non-ASC Student $350.00 for 10 sessions includes afternoon snack and ASC for the class date only.

  • Hula Ministry

    Hula Ministry is designed to teach keiki hula basics and to respect the Hawaiian culture. Haumana will also learn choreography to Hawaiian mele and Christian music. The culminating event is to minister at a Maryknoll praise and worship service.

  • IKF Karate

    Childhood is one of the best times to start on the path toward self-respect, respect for others, respect for healthy authority figures, as well as physical health and emotional balance. Maryknoll is honored to have the world-renowned International Karate Federation (IKF) return to our enrichment program this Fall under the leadership of Sensei Mari Kotaka Kaneshiro. IKF will continue its martial arts program focusing on character development, physical fitness, and learning the basics of intermediate skills in karate. 

    Thursday & Friday: 9/14, 9/15, 9/21, 9/22, 9/28, 9/29, 10/5, 10/12, 10/13, 10/19, 10/20, 10/26, 10/27, 11/2, 11/3. 11/9, 11/16, 11/17, 11/30, 12/1, 12/7, 12/8. (No classes on 10/6, 10/10, 11/23, 11/24)
    • Kindergarten must be pre-approved by Sensei Mari.

    • Grades K–2: 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

    • Grades 3–6: 3:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

    ASC Student $325.00 for 22 sessions

    Non-ASC Student $545.00 for 22 sessions includes afternoon snack and ASC for class date only.

    Student Cost: $120.00 package to include Karate Gi, IKF uniform patch, white belt, fist guards, and headgear payable to IKF and remitted in person to Sensei Mari. Free one-year IKF membership (valued at $25.00) included in package.

    Returning students: IKF membership $25.00 payable to IKF and remitted in person to Sensei Mari.
     
    Registration: IKF Registration Form will be emailed after payment has been made via Blackbaud.
  • Private Piano Lesson

    Piano lessons with Mrs. Ruby Sager. Our lessons are one-on-one with Mrs. Sager, so progress is catered to each student, allowing maximum attention and progress. We offer a full range of kid-friendly lessons for all ages and abilities. Lessons are thirty minutes long, once a week.

    Choose a day from below, Ms. Ruby will work with parents to schedule times for each registered student.

    Monday – Thursday
    (Limited spaces, 5 students per day)

    Mondays: 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 11/27, 12/4, 12/11.  
    (No classes: 10/2, 10/9) *Scheduled make-up dates will be done through Ms. Ruby for Monday.*

    Tuesdays: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12.
    (No classes: 10/31 - No make-up dates are needed.

    Wednesdays: 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/29, 12/6, 12/13. 
    (No classes: 11/1) No make-up dates are needed.

    Thursdays: 9/14, 9/21, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14. 
    (No classes: 9/28, 11/23) Scheduled makeup dates will be done through Ms. Ruby for Thursdays.

    ASC Student $675.00 for 13 private lessons

    Non-ASC Student $805.00 13 private lessons including afternoon snack and ASC care for the class date only.

  • Soccer Shots

    Soccer Shots is a character education program for keiki ages 2–8 that teaches the fundamentals of soccer with a developmentally appropriate curriculum. It is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. We strive to positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication.

    Coaches have combined over 25+ years coaching the Soccer Shots program, and our lead instructors are all certified preschool teachers. Enrollment covers 10 sessions, a jersey, and end-of-Fall enrichment prizes.


    Tuesdays:
    9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21 (No classes on 10/31)
    • Grades K–1: 2:30pm – 3:05pm
      • Limited class participants – 15
    • Grades 2–3: 3:10pm – 3:45pm

    ASC Student $350.00 for 10 sessions

    Non-ASC Student $450 for 10 sessions includes afternoon snack and ASC care for the class date only.

  • Sports Jam Academy

    Sports Jam Academy provides a safe, fun, and exciting after-school Sports & Fitness program. We include an introduction to basic training skills & drills in various team sports, including Football, Volleyball, Soccer & Baseball. Most importantly, the emphasis is on health, wellness & teamwork while learning positive life lessons and building friendships through team sports.

    Tuesdays: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21 (No classes on 10/31)
    • Grades K–1: 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
      • Limited class participants – 10

    • Grades 2–3: 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
      • Limited class participants – 10

  • Ukulele

    The ukulele is one of the most popular instruments played in Hawai’i today; it has a beautiful history and is known to be one of the easiest instruments to learn. If you have a child who is creative and enjoys music, this is a wonderful introductory instrument. To bridge the connection to our island music, we have collaborated with Aloha Music School to offer lessons at Maryknoll.

    If your child does not have an ukulele, Aloha Music School is offering Maryknoll families a discount package that includes an ukulele, soft case, digital tuner, and strap for ONLY $69.00. This fee is payable to Aloha Music School separately.
