The Toad
Advisor: Mason Donald
The Toad is our award-winning literary magazine written entirely by our high school students. It is consistently among the best publications of its kind, earning national recognition with a “Highest Award for Excellence”, given by the National Council of Teachers of English.
Each year, The Toad is submitted to the American Scholastic Press Association’s annual Review and Contest Awards for scholastic yearbooks, magazines & other publications. The 2009-2010 edition was awarded "First Place with Special Merit." This distinction is “given to a publication that scored over 900 points and, in the opinion of the reviewer, was an outstanding overall example of a scholastic publication in format, content, and presentation.”
To read the 2010-2011 edition of The Toad and previous editions, you must be logged in to the school webpage. This year's theme for The Toad was "Toadak Moments." The last entry is "A Tribute to Mr. Jared Kaufmann."
