Galen Ho Announced as Board Emeritus

Maryknoll School recently announced the induction of its newest board member: Galen Ho, as Board Emeritus. Ho has an expansive and diverse background and resume, including presidency of BAE SYSTEMS Information and Electronic Systems Integration Sector (IESIS), which employs 9,000 people at 26 sites nationwide.

Maryknoll Senior Awarded Foodland’s Shop for Higher Education Scholarship

A total of one hundred $2,000 scholarships are given to deserving high school seniors across the state every year, and this year; Misti Benoza was a recipient. Benoza has been vastly influential in the Maryknoll community. She has held many leadership positions including: Student Council Vice President, Vice President of Key Club, and Team Captain of the Speech Team. Read More

Spartan Named Grand Champion at State Forensic Championships

Andrew Menor, a senior at Maryknoll High School, was recently named the Grand Champion of Impromptu Speaking at the State Forensic Championships. The event was held on April 11, 2015, and was sponsored by the Hawaii Speech League, an affiliate chapter of the National Speech and Debate Association. During the final round of the competition, Andrew spoke for five minutes regarding the topic: “Angry man cannot catch fish” to win first place.  Read More
