Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone vs. Courage Zone

Your comfort zone represents things with which you are familiar. It is risk free and doesn’t require any stretching. On the other hand, the courage zone involves things that make us uncomfortable and require us to face the possibility of failure.

It is okay to spend most of our time in the comfort zone, but to reach our full potential, we need to venture out from time to time. For that we need courage.

Just Do It - Never let your fears make your decisions for you. No matter how hard, you must make the decisions that will lead to something outside your usually life. Make a friend, resist peer pressure, break an old habit, try out for a team, get involved – just do it!

Winning Means Rising Each Time You Fail – Failure is not the end of the world. Instead, it is just a step along the way to success. Winning is nothing more than rising each time you fall.

Be Strong in Hard Moments - Hard moments are conflicts between doing the right things and doing the easy thing. They are the key tests in life, and how we handle them can shape our futures. These moments can have huge consequences and often strike when we least expect it. They measure who we are and how we will proceed in life.

Overcoming Peer Pressure - Sometimes saying "no" to your friends when they are saying "yes" takes raw courage. To overcome peer pressure, you’ve got to care more about what you think than what they think of you. Even though you are dying to belong, you should stop to consider the basic value of your peers. Is that who you really are? Not all peer pressure is bad, but you need to have friends who will support your goals and stick to you morals.
