Course Registration Information
Course registration for the upcoming school year begins in mid-January in Advisory. Advisory teachers assist students in completing an annual credit check and reviewing their Course Selection Forms to ensure that they have registered appropriately. Forms are submitted to the Vice-Principal and Registrars for review at the end of February. The master schedule is then built based on student course requests in June, and student schedules are mailed out in mid-July.
Students interested in registering for Advanced Placement courses are encouraged to talk with a current Advanced Placement teacher. The rigor and expectations for Advanced Placement courses will be discussed at the Junior and Sophomore Parent College Guidance Nights in January. There is an AP Contract that must also be signed and submitted with students' course registration papework.
